| ||Youth Protection is the very first training you should take, and this training must be retaken every two years. It is done online and only takes 20-30 minutes. Definitely a first and top priority. When you go to the site, make sure your account includes your BSA membership ID so that the training can be automatically recorded. || |

Introduction to Outdoor Leaders Skills (North Star)
Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) teaches basic camping and outdoor safety skills, and is required training for the following positions: Scoutmasters (and Assistants) and Varsity Team Coaches (and Assistants).
